If your building is located in the rural area your aluminium panels should be cleaned 0.5 times per year, in the urban area they should be cleaned 0.5 to once per year, in low rainfall and/or coastal area once per year and in heavily industrialized area 1-2 times per year. Besides that aluminium composite panels don't have to be cleaned very ofther their cleaning process is fairly easy. To remove the soil you should use water rinse with moderate pressure. If that doesn't remove the soil some other solutions can be used for cleaning. Aluminium is classified as a non-combustible material for construction. When exposed to he temperatures as high as 600 degree Celsius aluminium melts but it is not inflammable. Some facades had combustible thermo-plastic cores that had tendency to catch fire but they are banned in almost all countries. In our GM Tower project we used an Alfrex non-combustible aluminium composite panels. It uses non-halogen material as the core material. As such it is an environmentally friendly construction material that doesn't generate toxic gas in the event of the fire.
